Why the young IT-savvy choose Epico NextGen as their employer

Software developers' wishes for companies and headhunters
I would like to be treated like a creative thinker.
It only took a week before Mikkel Thygesen got the student job at Epico as a software developer at NextGen. After a gaming tournament at the IT University, where Epico was the main sponsor, Mikkel Thygesen chose Epico NextGen, despite a lot of other job offers.
Mikkel Thygesen is 26 years old and is in the final part of his studies as a software developer at the IT University, and one of the reasons why Mikkel chose Epico NextGen was our presence and good contact with the young people:
"Simon Hoejlund from Epico NextGen was very present during those days, and we got to know each other well. A few months later, when I had started looking around for work, I had a chat with Simon. And because we had worked together on the event and talked afterwards, we were able to skip a lot of formalities. He knew what I stood for,"
Mikkel Thygesen.
The student job as a software developer at Epico NextGen, according to Mikkel, is both challenging and a good match between what he is interested in and has skills for.
In addition, Mikkel is very happy with Epico NextGen's concept of young developers being sent out together with an experienced senior, who you can learn from until you can stand on your own two feet.
Dislikes standardized tests
At Epico, Mikkel didn't just get a predefined package solution, as many companies are used to:
"It may not be a bad method, but it is a bit impersonal. Getting a job through someone you know is a much better experience for me."
Mikkel appreciated this very much, as he is not so happy with companies that contact him and ask him to send his CV and answer standardized tests:
"I need my needs to be listened to. Development is a very creative process. You must be treated like a creative thinker. Therefore, personal handling is really important. And you have to be offered something that suits you well."
At Epico, it is the qualifications, but just as much the person behind it, that is important. Therefore, we value the personal contact, and have good experience in working with young IT consultants.
