Epico-IT brings in another industry profile as sales manager: "It can be even better"

At Epico-IT, they have brought in several profiles to strengthen sales. Earlier this year, the consulting and recruitment house brought in one of the most experienced profiles in the industry in the form of Lars Siewertsen, and now comes another reinforcement with Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen, who will be sales manager at Epico West in Aarhus.

Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen comes from a position as Senior Manager at Atea, where he has been responsible for the sale of on-site consultants. He has extensive experience with private customers, and it is precisely this experience that will benefit the sales department at Epico Private West. Over the past five years, Epico has experienced strong growth among private customers and today counts more than 600 consultants.

"I know the consulting industry and know that it is about creating lasting relationships when it comes to the private market. I share that philosophy with Epico, which is one of the few places that takes sales seriously, and it can be felt in the culture. It also means that there is constant development here, and it can be a bit like jumping on a moving merry-go-round to have to join the team when the development is already going fast, but I am also ready for that," says Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen.

Coaching leader

Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen has distinguished himself in the industry for his coaching leadership style, which has been a crucial factor in his success. He emphasizes developing his employees through targeted coaching and support that allows more salespeople to reach their potential under his wing.

"Nicolaj's approach fits very well with our style here at Epico-IT. When you as a manager are out in the field instead of sitting behind the blinds in the office, you get better results. Even though we are now a large organization, it also feels a bit like we are small because we have maintained a closeness between managers and employees. At the same time, a person like Nicolaj can help us find more sales talents within our own ranks," explains Michelle Mark, CEO of Epico-IT.

Sales in focus

Today, Epico operates across business areas and national borders with headquarters in Ballerup. Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen will be working from Aarhus, and his biggest task will therefore be to drive Epico Private West's sales department forward and continue the positive development the organization has experienced. There is room for this because, according to CEO Michelle Mark, they are constantly looking for opportunities to improve sales and expand potential.

"There is no doubt that Epico has already shown impressive results in terms of sales. However, I am absolutely convinced that I can help make a difference. In other words: It can be even better," says Nicolaj Langberg Nielsen in conclusion.
