Based on the partnership, Epico has also become a supporting partner for the Danish Tech Challenge 2020, which last week kick-started their accelerator program, which helps IT startups boost their business.

DTU Science Park is Denmark's leading development environment for Deep Tech companies, while Futurebox embraces 20 startups that have been selected to participate in the Danish Tech Challenge 2020. Danish Tech Challenge is an acceleration program for 20 selected startups, where participants get pressure tested in all corners of their business and at the same time get help to develop.

At Epico, we specialize in finding the right IT profiles for companies that embrace IT. In addition to supporting Deep Tech companies' business development and being part of an exciting network between Deep Tech companies and the IT consulting industry, EPICO sees it as an obvious opportunity to contribute professional knowledge and sparring to the innovation environment at DTU.

Through previous collaborations with DTU, Epico has already found good synergies between Epico's and DTU's values and work approaches. Therefore, from Epico, there has also been a natural interest and a noticeable commitment to the projects and partnerships that Epico has entered into together with the S-house from DTU.

It is precisely this commitment that Søren Bendtsen, Event Coordinator from S-Huset, DTU, also believes provides value for both parties:

What sets Epico apart from other companies is clearly their presence at the event itself. We have not previously had partners who actively participate in the event in this way (...)

That is why we at Epico believe that the partnership with Futurebox and DTU Science Park also makes a lot of sense, as we have a desire to engage in the exciting network DTU Science Park has built.

The collaboration is advantageous for both parties, as we at Epico want to contribute to Tech startups being able to promote their business development.

In addition, Jan Hansen, CEO of Epico, says that Epico is pleased to be part of this collaboration:

"We see an exciting opportunity for Epico to engage with DTU Science Park's Deep Tech Community to contribute valuable sparring to the community that is the focal point of the Danish Tech Challenge"

Danish Tech Challenge 2020 has started!

In addition to business development, the Danish Tech Challenge is a competition where the final winner receives the Danish Industry Foundation's Entrepreneur Award and a prize of DKK 500,000 at a show at the end of January 2021.

On August 31, selected startups sat out at Futurebox together with supporting partners for an onboarding week - all to kick off the beginning of the Danish Tech Challenge.

20 startups have been selected by Futurebox based on an application and selected criteria, where they will compete to reach the final, and finally win the Danish Tech Challenge.

Together with other supporting partners, Epico is actively engaged in the Danish Tech Challenge, by contributing with professional advice and sparring to the companies.

Epico will be available to companies during the four months of the acceleration program. For Epico, it is important to actively engage in innovation and contribute to business development, which is why Epico will contribute with breakfast pitches, keynote speeches and workshops over the next four months, to the extent that it is relevant to the participants and creates value for them.

At Epico, we are very happy to have entered into this new collaboration, and we are excited to become part of the broad Deep Tech environment DTU Science Park is made of, where we look forward to contributing valuable knowledge in IT skills, and look forward to the exciting opportunities that may arise in the network.
