The State and Local Government Procurement Service in Denmark (SKI) has awarded the IT consultancy EPICO one of the coveted spots at SKI 02.17. EPICO is thus among the trusted suppliers who will solve some of the most complicated IT consulting tasks for the public sector from 1 June – this time as a "holistic supplier" across all 14 procurement areas.

The new SKI framework agreement is designed to provide public organizations with easy access to qualified and experienced IT consultants, and covers a total of 14 different service areas, including project and program management, system development, infrastructure and IT operations, and IT operations. EPICO, one of Denmark's largest suppliers of freelance consultants, who has made a wide bid and will be represented in all areas of service, which is EPICO's ability to deliver specialized IT competencies across the customers' needs:

"There has been great competition for the places, and we are proud to have been selected and awarded one of the places on SKI's important framework agreement. The fact that we are represented in all areas covered by the agreement confirms that we are not only specialized in a few areas, but that our competencies range so widely at SKI, and that we can be on all the 'trails' now," says Kristian Kossmann, Head of Public and Bid Management

"Stamp of approval" with broad representation

According to EPICO, the admission to SKI 02.17 is a hugely important step on the journey that the IT consultancy from "Silicon Ballerup" has embarked on with a targeted strategy to invest in the public sector with the EPICO Public department. The framework agreement thus supports EPICO's ambition to be a key player in the digitalisation and streamlining of the public sector and can form the basis for the plans to expand the collaboration between the public sector and EPICO as a permanent and trusted supplier of IT consultancy services – and here in particular, the broad incorporation of EPICO at SKI 02.17 is seen as a "seal of approval" for the IT consultancy as a "holistic partner" to the public sector: "At EPICO we look forward to being able to purposefully support the authorities' work to create value for our common society – a society we are all part of, through our combination of technological expertise and deep understanding of public organizations' workflows and challenges," concludes Michelle Mark, CEO of EPICO.
