Kathrine came on assignment right after Epico's CV-Speed event

It didn't take much more than two weeks from Kathrine Christensen participated in Epico's CV-Speed event until she was offered a consulting assignment through Epico.
"From the time I participated in CV-Speed until I was called in for the first interviews, it didn't take much more than 2 weeks, and therefore it was also very quick to find just the task that suited me. It was a very efficient and professional process," says Kathrine Christensen, who is now on assignment as an Epico Consultant at one of Epico's customers in the energy sector.
However, we just rewind time to a few weeks before Epico's CV-Speed event in Ballerup, where Kathrine Christensen is sitting at a sidewalk café in Italy on summer vacation. Here, Kathrine gets a call from one of Epico's resource managers for a talk about her personal and competence profile, and shortly afterwards she received an invitation to Epico's CV-Speed event in Ballerup.
Kathrine Christensen has been permanently employed in various companies for most of her career and has extensive experience in management, program management and change management. About a year ago, Kathrine made the decision to jump out as an independent consultant because she is driven by developing and transforming, which Kathrine feels she has better opportunities to do as a project-employed consultant.
I thought that now I had experience and a good toolbox where I could go out and help other companies with, for example, carrying out major transformations. That's actually what I'm most driven by - namely to get out and help get a project or an organization running, and then hand it over to someone else in the company, who can then make sure that it lives on.

Signed up for CV-Speed with Epico
Kathrine had never participated in a CV-Speed event before, but she thought that the concept sounded very exciting, so she showed up on Thursday 9 September in Ballerup for CV-Speed, where she was well received.
"When I arrived at Epico's CV-Speed, I was greeted by someone who welcomed me and explained about the concept. I then got a copy of my CV and went in where everyone was gathered and had a cup of coffee and pretty quickly I fell into conversation with someone from Epico, and the other consultants that I stood and talked to until I had to go in for an interview with Charlotte Skjellerup"
To CV-Speed with Epico
At CV-Speed on 9 September, many consultants had turned up, all of whom had to go in for a personal interview with one of Epico's resource managers. Kathrine Christensen was going in and talking to Charlotte Skjellerup, and here they went through Kathrine's CV and talked about her career aspirations and profile:
I think my interview with Charlotte Skjellerup went really well. We went through my CV and quickly she put me in touch with Henrik Riber, sales manager at Epico, who introduced me to one of his customers and told me what it was like to work with them

After that, things moved quickly. Kathrine went home after a good afternoon in the company of Epico and in a flash there was a match between her profile and projects out with Epico's customers.
"In one week, I managed to send maybe 3 – 4 CVs to different roles on projects," says Kathrine Christensen, who also mentions that she senses that there is a good collaboration internally in Epico between the employees, so that there is a focus on achieving the best result for the consultant. Thus, Kathrine's profile quickly became a match for an assignment with one of Epico's customers in the energy sector.
Then I got the offer from one of Epico's customers in the energy sector, which fit very well in relation to what I can do, and I therefore chose to take on the task as organizational change manager.
Here, Kathrine will help the customer with a transformation of their workplace after Covid-19, where the company must now adapt to a more hybrid work model. Initially, the project will last 4 months, but with an option for extension.
Important with personal dialogue and feedback
At Epico, it is important for us to find the right match between the consultant and the company. It must be the right match for both the client and the consultant, which is why we pay close attention to transparency throughout the process, both towards the consultant and the client.
"What means a lot when you are an independent consultant and bid on a lot of tasks is this thing about getting the feedback on an ongoing basis and what separates Epico is that the dialogue is there with Epico," says Kathrine Christensen after the process of getting on assignment through Epico.
In fact, the dialogue and feedback with Epico was so good that it was the primary reason why Kathrine chose to work with Epico.
